ADE Honeywell 8IR103 Activ8 PIR Motion Sensor Detector With Pet Tolerance

As supplied in the Honeywell complete kit 8EP407N and the Honeywell 8EP006 Logic Six Proximity kit.

The 8IR103 detector offers a simple, reliable and cost-effective solution to meet the requirements of the majority of installation
needs. With high precision sealed optics as standard, full microprocessor control and the streamlined low-profile aesthetic
design, your choice of detectors has just been made easier.
The 8IR103 PIR detector uses a special designed optical Lens
with new ASIC based electronics optimized to eliminate false alarms caused by small animals and pets. Pet tolerance is selectable so that the detector can equally be used as a conventional PIR sensor enabling installers to reduce the number of sensors they need to carry.

The 8IR103 detector has a large detection range which is adjustable from 11m to 18m, offering superb flexibility for any security installation.
With unprecedented levels of white light immunity, false alarms caused by light sources such as the sun or car headlights, are vastly reduced.
The 8IR103 is supplied with mounting brackets giving installers
the option of ceiling, wall or corner mounting for greater flexibility and ease of installation.

This detector comes with an additional greyish lens is this lens needed for the detector to act as a pet sensor or does the jumpers determen the pet mode?

The lens is for white light filter, this can be installed if the detector is looking directly at a window and is giving false alarms.

I have 2 meidium size cat, they are old and they don't play much , which option shall I use 15k or 25k , also there is sensetivity adjust , do I have to change that as well? please advise.

i would set the pir to 15 Kg and leave the pluse count the same as it is supplied from the factory.

what are the eol terminals used for?

Yes it will but you will still have to set the sensitivity.
